Hello! I’m Paul Stewart, and here is a little about me!

I am a creative designer and web developer with an excellent working knowledge of Adobe products such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and InDesign. I am fortunate enough to own both the CS3 and CS4 Master suites and use these in all my design work. I also have an excellent working knowledge of other free software equivalents such as Aptana Studio 2.0, Notepad ++, Inkscape, Gimp and Gimpshop, Nvu, Komposer and many more.

I develop websites for various small businesses and companies around the UK and am working to expand this much more through 2010. I create W3C standards compliant sites using HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and Flash depending upon the design specification agreed with my clients. I pride myself on the clean look and feel of all my site designs.

I am in the process of putting together an online portfolio to showcase all my graphic design work which includes – Photo collages, Wedding invites, Business cards, Letterhead paper, Mousemats, Posters and flyers – the website will be Paul Stewart Creative Design. This should be ready by February 2010.

Completely aside from the design side of my life I like to get involved in music creation and production. I am completely self taught and am able to play piano, bass, rhythm and lead guitars to a very high standard and am also competent on the drums. I produce music at home using Pro Tools Suite. I’m not currently in a band but am working on some material to record to keep me busy until such a time comes that I want to get back into a band and experience the thrill of playing live again after 2 years out of the music scene. A sabbatical I’m calling it!

I’m very family orientated and adore my son Finlay, being a dad is the best thing in the world, so I’m very excited about being a dad for the second time this May. I’m currently working on a site, kind of like an online journal, where I can write about all the amazing things that Finlay has done. I’ll do the same for the new baby aswell.

Other things that interest me are Formula 1, travelling, scuba diving, photography and drawing.

This website is my place to write about all the things that I’m doing in my daily life whether it be design, music or family orientated for you all to read and hopefully enjoy. I will add photos, music files and anything else that I think that you’ll enjoy.
