So I’ve got into the festive spirit today as I’ve spent the day getting all the decorations down from the attic and putting them up around the house. I have put a little 3 foot tree in the kitchen complete with blue lights, and I’ve put a 7 foot tree in our living room. Between myself, Rachel and Finlay we’ve all put our fair share of decorations on the tree and it looks lovely. I’ve had to turn our dining table around though to make sure we can fit everything in.

With less than 20 days to go to Christmas I’m now getting really excited and can’t wait to start wrapping presents and putting them underneath the tree. More than that though I am really excited about seeing Finlay’s face on Christmas morning when he sees all the presents that Father Christmas has delivered for him.

I am going to go shopping tomorrow and get a few bits and bobs as I’d like to make some mince pies and a christmas cake for Christmas desserts.

It’s so exciting, and to think that this time next year I’ll have two children to get excited about for Christmas! It’s going to be fantastic!
