Why is it that the weekends fly by? I’ve had such a great one, I just wish it could last longer.
We went to the country park this morning to feed the ducks and get some fresh air, and to have a little run around with Finlay on the lawns. The grass was a bit damp and Finlay’s legs were quickly wet and covered in grass, it didn’t seem to bother him at all. When it was on his hands though he did try as hard as he could to shake it off.
We only stayed for about an hour as we were late heading out and had to get back for dinner. After food I took Finlay out passed the lakes in our village for a walk to settle him off to sleep.
Finlay has been really entertaining all weekend, when he says the word “Monkey” he sounds really northern, it’s so cute! He’s also been playing hide and seek, spinning round saying “Batman!” and being his adorable young self. I love him so much, everytime I think of him a smile quickly emerges on my face.

The news at ten has just started so I’m going to watch that and catch up what’s going on in the world, then it’s off to sleep. Up early for work in the morning!
